Parking Permit Required

Today, Hubs Baby and I had another fun beach adventure before work. This time, we went to a really fun part of the beach after looking for parking for a bit. We finally found a spot that we had to SQUEEZE into. After lathering ourselves in sunblock, we headed down the little sand walkway to the water. Little one was wearing an adorable little sundress and we were ready for some water fun. Little one was OBVIOUSLY more excited and ready for the water than we were because.. while we were walking along the shore, her right hand in mind, and left in dad’s.. she quickly jerked away from both of our hands.. and tried to make a quick run for the wide open ocean.. only to fall face first into the water. This all happened in a matter of 1/2 a second. I said “oh cailyn!!” and picked her up.. and what did she do?? SHE LAUGHED.. and wiped the sand from her nose. She thought it was SO funny that she tried to make a quick escape into the water. What is she, a fish? Geez louis. After that, I said.. “okay let’s go” only because not only was her diaper now wet from dodging waves.. but her whole entire dress was soaked.. along with her hair.. and I’m pretty sure there was sand in her booty crack.

There was. I brought her inside the house when we got home and gave her a real shower. She loved that as well. This kid.. and water.
